Sunshine Coast Ultimate Beach League
Five weeks of mixed hat ultimate on Mooloolaba beach. Teams are picked to be balanced - total beginners are always on a team with experienced players. Turn up, throw discs, make mates.
About the league
Winter Beach is the league everyone signs up for. Sunset, sand, salt water, and a balanced hat draft so you spend five weeks playing with a fresh mix of teammates.
It's beginner-friendly - you sign up solo and we put you on a team with at least a couple of experienced players. By week two you'll know the rules; by week five you'll have a new social calendar.
How it runs
Five Sunday evenings on Mooloolaba beach, starting at sunset.
Teams are drafted to be balanced. You'll keep your team for the season; opposing teams rotate week to week.
Most weeks finish with a beer at the surf club afterwards.
